As part of WordPress.com, there is a certain amount of information that is collected when you visit the WordPress.com site and interact with my blog. When you comment on any page or post, the following information collected and stored:
- The commenters name and email address
- The Date and Time that the comment was submitted
- The IP address of the commenter
- Also your site URL (if you provided this on your comment form)
If you leave a comment of any of my posts or pages whilst logging into a WordPress account or using a social media account such as Twitter, Facebook etc; then the user ID for that account and also the site URL would be collected.
When using the recommendations form on my blog, the following information is collected:
- The IP address of the person with the recommendation
- The Date and Time that the recommendation was submitted
Any information that you provide when contacting me will not be shared with any third parties.
When signing up to follow this blog, your email address and/or your WordPress ID will be collected and stored and you will be sent regular emails when a new post is released on the blog. You can cancel or unsubscribe from these emails at any time and you will not receive any other emails except ones relating to this blog.
When commenting on this blog, the name or WordPress ID of the person leaving the comment the email address, and site URL (if provided) are stored in cookies. This blog is hosted on the WordPress.com free service which provides general information of all users country location as well as which links are clicked and any search terms which may be used while looking on the website or entering the website via certain search engines. This information is not linked to a personal ID/ IP address though and only provides the general details of where blog users come from and which posts/pages have been viewed.
Data Syncing is enabled on this site which means that a shadow version of this blog is saved onto the WordPress.com servers. This includes all the information collected as well as all the blog posts and pages for this blog.
